Race 2 the Kensington Tavern Supports Hundertwasser 1400m Maiden 3 year old $10000 sees Jake The Muss start from barrier 5 ridden by Trudy Thornton . A 3 year old Postponed gelding is owned by Donna Logan, S Bennett, M Mathias, Mike and Jack Lum, and Allan Johnson. He ran 5th in his first start at Ruakaka on 27th August after coming home strongly. A first 3 chance.

Also starting is Toorak Tower from barrier 6 ridden by Vinny Colgan. A 3 year old Toorak Toff gelding owned  by Fernvale Farm Pty Ltd, Donna Logan and Rosemont Stud Pty Ltd. Had his first start on the 23rd July at Ruakaka where he battled. Has been working really well and could get some of it.    Big talk for Excalibur.  

Race 3 the Maggie Dixon Supports Hundertwasser 1600m Rating 75 Benchmark $22500 sees Cambridge start from barrier 8 ridden by Matt Cameron. Owned by NZ Thoroughbred Holdings Ltd. 10 starts for 3-2-2. Last start 2nd on 27th August when held up early. Won previous 6th August. Hard to beat.

Also starting is Taken The Liberty from barrier 4 ridden by Sam Weatherley. Owned by GW and MW Simon, A Clark and M Scanlon. 19 starts for 3-3-3. Last start win on August 27th over 1400m. First 3 chance.

Also starting is Segenhoe from barrier 7 ridden by Kelly McCulloch. Owned by Est late NA Mortimer, Jan and Cindy Mortimer. 13 starts for 1-1-0. Ran forward at last start on August 27th and came to the end of it. Will have taken improvement from the run and can finish in the first 3.

Race 4 the MWIS Supports Hundertwasser 2100m Rating 85 Benchmark $25000 sees All Roads starts from barrier 8 ridden by Kelly McCulloch. The 5 year old Road To Rock gelding has had 12 starts for 4-2-0 and is owned by BF and MF Broom, TW Cole, AA Fraser, DJ Gordon, JC MacLeod, RW McDuff, DS and ML Shuker. Won his last start at Ruakaka on 27th August over 1600m and will be hard to beat. 

Also starting is Zafrenzy from barrier 3 ridden by Sam Weatherley. The 6 year old Savabeel mare is owned by Mrs CA , MC, MK and TP Dravitzki, Mrs KM Megchelse, LE and TM Vincent. She has had 31 starts for 4-4-3. She ran second on 27th August and fought hard to the line. Has been working well and a big chance here.  

Also starting is Greencast ridden by Trudy Thornton. The 4 year old Iffraaj gelding is owned by Lena Ang. He has had 7 starts for 2-1-2. Won on 27th August carrying a bit weight. A great chance to win again. 

Race 5 the Spire Supports Hundertwasser 1200m Rating 65 Benchmark $20000 sees Honour Princess start from barrier 7 ridden by Sam Weatherley. The 4 year old Ekraar mare is owned by Ross Powell, Brian Carter, John Carter, Linwood Park Stud Ltd  and has had 6 starts for 1-1-1 running a battling 6th at Ruakaka on 27th August. Will have improved and a definite top 3 chance. 

Race 7 the Tavistock Northland Breeders Stakes 1200m 3 year olds SW $50000 sees Wyndspelle start from barrier 6 ridden by Vinny Colgan. The 3 year old Iffraaj colt is owned by J Frew, S Hanna, Jen Campin Bloodstock Ltd and NP Randles. Has had 5 starts for 1-2-1. Last start 3rd at Hawkes Bay. Class horse and will be in the finish.

Also starting is The Soultaker from barrier 8 ridden by Mark Du Plessis. The 3 year old colt is owned by Graeme Lemon, Donna Logan, Ivy Pearson, George and Maryanne Simon and Dennis Tay. Has had 5 starts for 1-2-0. Nearly beat favourite in the Sistema Diamond Stakes 12th March. Could be the other way around here.

Also starting is Barabas from barrier 2 ridden by Kelly McCulloch. Owned by Donna Logan, R Beehre, N Burnside and Henry Norcross. Has had 3 starts for 1-1-0 and ran 8th at Hawkes Bay after winning at Ruakaka over 1000m on 23rd July. Great chance to get part of this.

Also starting is Astara from barrier 10 ridden by Samantha Collett. The 3 year old Dalghar filly is owned by Nevan  Botica who owns the rising star stallion Dalghar. Has had 4 starts for 2-1-0. Won the 1600m Champagne Stakes in record time and even though might need more ground could attain freak status.

Race 8 the Homeworld Supports Hundertwasser 1400m Rating 85 Benchmark $25000 sees Rocknrolla start from barrier 4 ridden by A Schwerin. Owned by Mark Treloar, J Frew, Mrs M Langstone, Donna Logan, FD and Mrs JG Mein, Kim O'Riley, NR Pene, Len Reed , and Radio Star Colin Thomson. 35 starts for 7-4-6 and won at Ruakaka on 27th August over 1400m and then ran 7th at the same venue on 27th August after being blockedat the turn. Can Win.

Never normally tip but Excalibur could be the bet of the day race 2. First 4 in race 4 , the first 4 Pacorus, All Roads, Zafrenzy and Greencast. Northland Breeders Stakes to attain Group 3 status.
